hari ini such a very boring day for me...dari semalam demam gak jelas sama batuk-batuk...sama suami akhirnya gak boleh kemana-mana...bosennnnn banget rasanya dirumah...rumah cinere sepinya minta ampun deh..mertua ku masih di amerika tapi katanya tanggal 6 desember besok pulang sih...asik....jadi rame lagi rumah cinere...
trusssss....tadi suamiku berangkat terbang jam 11 siang...karena gak boleh kemana-mana, otomatis aku ngendon ajah dirumah sambil nonton koleksi-koleksi dvd yang belum habis ditonton...tiba-tiba gak lama kemudian tau-tau suami nelpon nyuruh belanja bulanan...
cihuiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii.........!!!!!
akhirnya boleh keluar juga...langsung deh buru-buru mandi, abis mandi, aku tetep lanjutin nonton dvd dulu soalnya nanggung lagi nerusin nonton "LOST" and lagi seru-serunya ceritanya...gak nyadar...tau-tau udah ketiduran ajah....halahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....baru kebangun jam 6 sore tadi...buru-bure deh langsung berangkat ke mal cinere buat belanja bulanan...
abis belanja, ngeliat ada warnet di mal....hihihihihihi...jadi pengen online...akhirnya nyangsang lah aku disini...hehehehehhe...niat banget gak sih??
koneksinya lumayan bagus...cuma suasananya betein, soalnya penuh anak-anak abg...tapi bodo amat lah...yang penting aku bisa cek emailku and bisa posting ke blog...

.: Pengemis Buta Dan Rasulullah SAW:.
harinya selalu berkata kepada setiap orang yang mendekatinya,
"Wahai saudaraku, jangan dekati Muhammad, dia itu orang gila, dia itu
pembohong,
dia itu tukang sihir, apabila kalian mendekatinya maka kalian akan
dipengaruhinya".
Namun, setiap pagi Muhammad Rasulullah SAW mendatanginya dengan membawakan makanan,dan tanpa berucap sepatah kata pun Rasulullah SAW menyuapkan makanan yang dibawanya kepada pengemis itu sedangkan pengemis itu tidak mengetahui bahwa yang menyuapinya itu adalah Rasulullah SAW.
Rasulullah SAW melakukan hal ini setiap hari sampai beliau wafat.
Setelah wafatnya Rasulullah SAW, tidak ada lagi orang yang membawakan
makanan setiap pagi kepada pengemis Yahudi buta itu.
Suatu hari sahabat terdekat Rasulullah SAW yakni Abubakar RA berkunjung ke rumah anaknya Aisyah RA yang tidak lain tidak bukan merupakan isteri Rasulullah SAW dan beliau bertanya kepada anaknya itu, "Anakku, adakah kebiasaan kekasihku yang belum aku kerjakan?".
Aisyah RA menjawab, "Wahai ayah, engkau adalah seorang ahli sunnah dan
hampir tidak ada satu kebiasaannya pun yang belum ayah lakukan kecuali satu saja".
"Apakah Itu?", tanya Abubakar RA.
"Setiap pagi Rasulullah SAW selalu pergi ke ujung pasar dengan membawakan
makanan untuk seorang pengemis Yahudi buta yang ada di sana ", kata Aisyah RA.
Keesokan harinya Abubakar RA pergi ke pasar dengan membawa makanan untuk
diberikan kepada pengemis itu. Abubakar RA mendatangi pengemis itu lalu memberikan makanan itu kepadanya.
Ketika Abubakar RA mulai menyuapinya, sipengemis marah sambil menghardik,
"Siapakah kamu?".
Abubakar RA menjawab, "Aku orang yang biasa (mendatangi engkau)."
"Bukan! Engkau bukan orang yang biasa mendatangiku", bantah si pengemis
buta itu.
"Apabila ia datang kepadaku tidak susah tangan ini memegang dan tidak
susah mulut ini mengunyah. Orang yang biasa mendatangiku itu selalu menyuapiku,
tapi terlebih dahulu dihaluskannya makanan tersebut,
setelah itu ia berikan padaku", pengemis itu melanjutkan perkataannya.
Abubakar RA tidak dapat menahan air matanya, ia menangis sambil berkata
kepada pengemis itu,
"Aku memang bukan orang yang biasa datang padamu. Aku adalah salah seorang
dari sahabatnya,
orang yang mulia itu telah tiada. Ia adalah Muhammad Rasulullah SAW".
Seketika itu juga pengemis itu pun menangis mendengar penjelasan Abubakar
RA, dan kemudian berkata,
"Benarkah demikian? Selama ini aku selalu menghinanya, memfitnahnya,
ia tidak p erna h memarahiku sedikitpun,
ia mendatangiku dengan membawa makanan setiap pagi, ia begitu mulia.... "
Pengemis Yahudi buta tersebut akhirnya bersyahadat di hadapan Abubakar RA
saat itu juga dan sejak hari itu menjadi muslim.
Nah, wahai saudaraku, bisakah kita meneladani kemuliaan akhlaq Rasulullah
SAW?
Atau adakah setidaknya niatan untuk meneladani beliau?
Beliau adalah ahsanul akhlaq, semulia-mulia akhlaq.
Kalaupun tidak bisa kita meneladani beliau seratus persen, alangkah
baiknya kita berusaha

It's so hard to find any kind of love story like this anymore...
From the very beginning,the girl's family objected strongly on her dating this guy, saying that it has got to do with family background, and that the girl will have to suffer for the rest of her life if she were to be with him...
Due to family pressures, the couple quarreled very often, though the girl loved the guy deeply...She always ask her guy : "How deep is your love for me?"
As the guy is not good with his words, this often caused the girl very upset...With that and the family pressures, the girl often vent her anger with him...As for him...he always endured it in silence...
After a couple years, the guy finally graduated and decided to further his studies overseas...Before leaving, he proposed to the girl : "I'm not really good in words. But all i know is that I Love You...If you allow me, i will take care of you for the rest of my life...As for your family, I will try my best to talk them round...Will You Marry Me????"
The girl agreed and with the guy's determination, the family finally gave in and agreed to let them get married...So before he left, they got engaged...The girl went out to the working society, whereas the guy was overseas continuing his studies...They sent their love through emails and phone calls...Though it was hard, but both of them never thought of giving up...
One day when the girl was on her way to work,she was knocked down by a car that lost control...When she woke up, she saw her parents beside her bed...She realized that she was badly injured...Seeing her mom crying, she wanted to give her comfort..But she realized that all that could come out from her mouth was just a sigh...She had lost her voice...

With the new environment...she learnt sign language and started a new life...building back her confidence...Telling herself that she must forget the guy...One day, her friend came and told her that the guy is already back...She asked her friend not to let him know what had happened to her...Since then, there wasn't anymore new from him....
A year has passed...and once again her friend came with an envelope...containing an invitation card of the guy's wedding party...The girl was shattered...And when she opened the letter, she saw her name instead...When she was about to ask her friend what's going on, She saw the guy standing in front of her...
He used the sign language to tell her : "I have spent a year to learn sign language..Just to let you know that i have not forgotten our promise...Let me be the chance to be your voice...I Love You..." With that he slipped the ring back into her finger...The girl finally smiled...

Heartache, and heartbreak go hand in hand when a relationship ends..
Your confidence is shattered, your pride is broken, and the light at the end
of the tunnel seems too distant to even try to reach. The good news, is that
it all eventually gets better. Days, weeks, or months. We all handle break
ups differently. While some seemingly pick up and move on very quickly,
others tend to wallow in self pity and depression for a very long time.
The quickest way to lessen the heartbreak in my experiences is to accept
the pain, and allow yourself to grieve. Don't try to bury it and act as if the
heartache isn't there. It eventually needs to be released. Write a
heartbreak poem and let your feelings go. Accept the things that you
cannot change. Nobody is perfect, and try to learn from mistakes that you
may have made in your relationship. You have grown as a person, and
your next mate will surely see it.

Why should I quit smoking?
Because it could save your life. They don't call cigarettes "cancer sticks" and "coffin nails" for nothing. When you smoke, you're exposing yourself to more than 4,000 chemicals, including cyanide, benzene, and ammonia -- and at least 40 of those chemicals can cause cancer. Perhaps the best known is nicotine, an addictive compound that can make it ferociously hard to stop smoking.
Although smoking may feel good, it hurts every organ in your body. Middle-aged smokers have death rates three times higher than those of people in the same age range who have never smoked. You're at much greater risk of getting lung cancer than a nonsmoker. You're also more likely to suffer from hardening of the arteries, bronchitis, shortness of breath, or emphysema, which causes a slow, painful death. What's more, you're at an increased risk for stroke and twice as likely to have a heart attack as a nonsmoker.
These hazards may seem pretty far away when you're young. But it probably won't be long before your face starts looking sallow, and later you'll likely develop signs of "smoker's face," premature wrinkling marked by dozens of tiny creases -- something that nonsmokers typically don't get. Smoking also gives you bad breath and stains your teeth and fingers, and the secondhand smoke from your cigarettes is likely to irritate friends and family members who don't smoke. (It's also hazardous to their health -- up to 73,000 people die annually of lung cancer, heart disease, and other conditions from breathing other people's smoke, according to the American Lung Association.)
Your body benefits as soon as you stop smoking. According to the American Lung Association, within 20 minutes of your last cigarette your elevated blood pressure and pulse rate drop to normal. After a couple of days, your abilities to smell and taste improve and your damaged nerve endings start to repair themselves. Within a few months, walking and other physical activities will become easier and your lung function will increase by up to 30 percent. After five years, you'll have nearly halved your odds of getting lung cancer.
Your friends and family also benefit when you stop smoking. A nonsmoker who's married to a smoker has a 30 percent higher risk of developing lung cancer than one who lives with a nonsmoker. Children whose parents smoke are more likely to suffer from pneumonia or bronchitis in the first two years of life than are children who live in smoke-free households. By quitting cigarettes, you're protecting your loved ones as well.
•Make a plan. Preparing to quit is an important first step. There's no one right way to stop smoking, but smokers who lay the groundwork are much more likely to succeed. Make a list of the people, places, and pastimes associated with your smoking - anything that "triggers" your behavior. One of the hardest things about being a regular smoker and then giving it up is that you'll always know how good that after-dinner smoke tastes. Come up with a plan for coping with each of those triggers. For example, after a meal you may want to get up and take a walk -- or brush your teeth. If a cigarette automatically appears in your mouth when you leave work at the end of the day, substitute a lollipop or a toothpick (the oral fixation fostered by smoking is one of its more insidious aspects). If a glass of wine makes you reach for a cigarette, you may want to avoid alcohol for the first week or so. |
•Set a quit date. Pick a date that's realistic and allows you to develop your plan. Try to select a time period when you don't anticipate being under much stress yet will be too busy to sit around thinking about smoking. It may also help to start at a time when you'll have a little extra impetus. For example, if you're going to visit people around whom you can't smoke (your grandparents or your in-laws, perhaps), vow to remain smoke-free after the trip is over. You'll have a few days under your belt already. |
•Tell your friends and family about your plan. Having their support and knowing they're counting on you can increase your motivation to stick with it. |
•If involving others doesn't suit you, become a "quiet quitter." For some people, kicking the habit without all the fanfare and questions from concerned supporters is easier in the long run. Knowing that everyone's "counting on you" might stress you to the point of failure instead of bolstering your resolve. Which approach will work best depends on your personality. |
•Take it day-by-day -- or even trigger-by-trigger. This may sound like "addiction-speak," but it works. To approach the process by thinking, "I can't wait until I've been nicotine-free for a week" won't help you with that craving you get with your morning coffee on the very first day. |

Stop-Smoking Groups
A number of organizations in your community may sponsor classes or support groups that guide smokers through the quitting process. Participants learn to identify smoking triggers, set a quit date, and find alternatives to smoking. If there is a fee, your medical plan may pay part of it; call to find out. Check the phone book and Internet to see what smoking cessation groups are available.
•The American Cancer Society (http://www.cancer.org or (800) ACS-2345) can refer you to a chapter in your area. |
•The American Lung Association (http://www.lungusa.org or (800) LUNG-USA) is another great resource. |
Quitting Tools
•Nicotine replacement products. Taking the form of gum or a patch, these release nicotine into your body, helping to reduce the physical withdrawal symptoms that may occur during the first few weeks that you go without cigarettes. The gum delivers nicotine through the lining of your mouth, although it causes soreness and burning of the mouth in some people. The patch looks like a Band-Aid, is worn on the skin, and transmits an even flow of nicotine through the skin and into the bloodstream. (About 25 to 50 percent of those using it experience some itching or burning at the site of the patch; nausea, headache, cough, insomnia, and vertigo have also been reported.) Both products are available without a prescription at many drugstores and supermarkets. |
•Zyban (bupropion). As an antidepressant, bupropion is sold as Wellbutrin, but the product prescribed to ease the craving for cigarettes is known as Zyban. This prescription drug doesn't contain nicotine, and although researchers aren't sure how it work, the drug appears to help in brain chemistry that may occur when you quit smoking. It may diminish some withdrawal symptoms such as irritability, frustration, anxiety, and cravings. In 2005, the Food and Drug Administration issued an alert for bupropion citing research that showed an increased risk for suicidal behavior in children and adults when taking the medication for depression. If you're interested in using Zyban to help you quit, talk to your doctor about possible side effects before getting a prescription. |
Some health insurance plans cover the costs of these quitting aids. Both nicotine replacement products and Zyban can have side effects. Consult your doctor about any of these products before trying them, particularly if you're pregnant or have heart disease or another chronic illness, to make sure the products are safe for you.
You may also want to consider alternative methods, which include hypnosis and acupuncture, to help you stop smoking.
When the desire for a cigarette gets intense, California Smokers' Helpline recommends trying the Four D's:
•Delay: Look at your watch, and wait a couple of minutes. Often, the urge to smoke will be gone by the time the second hand has circled twice. (As the days pass, the urges will come less often.) |
•Distraction: Whatever you were doing when the urge to smoke surfaced, do something else. If you're alone, find someone to talk to. If you're sitting, take a short walk. |
•Drinking water: Water helps satisfy the need to put something in your mouth and your body -- and it's good for you. |
•Deep breathing: Inhale slowly and deeply. Pause when your lungs are full, and count to five. Then exhale slowly. Repeat several times. |
Some other tips on fighting urges:
•Keep busy. If you find yourself obsessing about smoking, find something to do. Come up with activities that engage you in some way: Make a quick phone call, take a short walk, talk with a coworker or friend. |
•Develop new interests. Take a class, embark on a household improvement project, or start an exercise routine. Exercise -- whether walking, biking, jogging, swimming, or taking an aerobics class -- can distract your mind and body from the desire for cigarettes. Any of these activities can make you feel better and improve your health. And chances are the healthier you feel, the less you'll want to taint that by smoking. |
•Get support and encouragement. Make an arrangement with someone you can call anytime, day or night, whenever the urge to smoke gets overwhelming. This can be particularly helpful if you have a sudden emotional shock or a slipup. Your "support buddy" can be a friend (try to choose someone who's positive and understanding yet firm) or someone from the California Smokers' Helpline. |
Not everyone gains weight after giving up cigarettes. However, without nicotine, your metabolism will return to a normal, slower speed. So if you find yourself eating more and you don't exercise, you will probably gain a few pounds. To prevent this, avoid high-fat foods and constant snacking (unless the snacks are along the lines of carrot sticks and apples.) Exercise throughout the day, if you can: Take the stairs at work instead of the elevator, go for a brisk walk each day, and start or add to your fitness program.
Try not to panic about modest weight gain. The health risks of smoking far surpass the risks of gaining five to 10 pounds. Smoking causes more than 400,000 deaths each year in the United States. If you're in a healthy weight range now, you'd have to gain about 100 to 150 pounds after quitting to make your health risks as high as they were when you smoked!
If you slip up and have a cigarette or two, it doesn't need to bring your program to a crashing halt. "Cheating" or lighting up once over a cup of coffee needn't put you back on the road to a pack a day. Remind yourself that quitting is hard. Just like anything that's difficult, you're not going to get it right immediately. Figure out what caused you to smoke, and learn from it. The key is to move on from the slipup, because berating yourself will only add to your stress and may make you fall off the wagon completely. Treat it as a bump in a road you're still traveling down. Remind yourself why you want to quit, and get back on track again as a nonsmoker.
Try to remember how much better you started feeling right before you slipped up. Use that as motivation. If you went three days without a cigarette, try to make it a week this time.
You may not succeed the first time you try to quit smoking. You might even need to give up your plan for the time being. Try to identify what barriers made you stumble in your attempt to quit and how you could overcome them when you try again. Once you've refined your plan and revived your fervor, you're ready.
Being ready is important to success. Different things motivate different people to stop smoking. Recognize that smoking is an addiction. Edwin B. Fisher, Jr., a psychologist and director of the Division of Health Behavior Research at the University of North Carolina, points out, "The more you identify your reasons for smoking and the reasons you want to quit, the more likely you'll be successful."
Paying more attention to when you smoke and what triggers your desire for a cigarette can be a first step in your preparations. Build up your motivation to quit: Write down five reasons you want to quit, and look at the list every day. By taking your own wishes and needs into account, you can come up with a plan that will work for you.

gue sendiri sih gak ngerasa yakin abis gue baca beberapa artikel tentang quit smoking apakah gue akan berhasil atau nggak ngelepasin hal ini...feel hopeless about this actually...i started to smoke when i was 18 years old...now i'm 19 years old...so its already been 8 years...
waktu sebelum menikah, gue dah pernah janji sama calon suami gue waktu itu untuk berhenti ngerokok sesudah nikah...nyatanya sampai sekarang, gue belum berhasil juga berhenti...suami gue sampe dah marah berat karena kita berdua lagi program punya baby....gak cuma dia, ortu gue ajah dah sampai meledak untuk marahin gue tentang hal ini....
dari kapan tau sih gue udah tau semua bahaya ngerokok...tapi rasanya sulit banget untuk ngelepasinnya....padahal...kalo lagi sama suami gue bisa tuh nggak ngerokok2 berjam2...tapi...begitu suami pergi terbang or pergi kemana deh...pasti deh godaan untuk ngerokok datang lagi...
nah...tadi gue ngerasa sesakkkkkk banget...and gue pikir..kayaknya inilah saatnya gue bener2 harus bisa lepasin bad habit ini...segala artikel gue baca barusan ...ways to quits, cara2 mengendalikan keinginan untuk ngerokok , pokoknya segalanya deh....semua gue bener2 baca karena gue dah niat abis buat berhenti...gue pikir...saatnya gue berhenti nyakitin diri sendiri dengan ngerokok..i need good body to have baby...gue butuh sehat untuk hidup selanjutnya....gue gak mau mendekin umur sendiri dengan terus merokok...mengingat banyak banget yang sayang sama gue yang udah dengan sangat telaten untuk menasihati gue untuk berhenti ngerokok....
nanti, kalo suami udah pulang terbang, gue mau minta temenin cari klinik untuk terapi berhenti merokok...belum tau sih dimana..sekarang masih gue cari...tapi gue yakin bisa dapetin...
mudah2an berhasil yahh...gue berhenti ngerokok...wish me luck ...!!!!

.: Sedikit tentang sakit jantung :.
Artikel ini sangat bagus. Tidak hanya mengenai minum air hangat setelah
makan, tapi juga tentang serangan jantung. Ini masuk akal... Orang Cina dan
orang Jepang minum teh panas dengan makanan mereka.. bukan air dingin..
Mungkin sudah waktunya kita mengadaptasi kebiasaan minum air hangat seperti
mereka..
Ga rugi.. malah untung..
Untuk mereka yang suka minum air dingin, artikel ini cocok untuk Anda.
Memang enak untuk minum secangkir minuman dingin setelah makan. Tapi, air
dingin akan mengeraskan makanan berminyak yang baru saja dimakan dan
memperlambat pencernaan makanan. Ketika endapan ini bereaksi dengan asam
lambung, endapan akan terpecah dan diserap oleh usus lebih cepat daripada
makanan padat. Ini akan memenuhi usus. Sebentar saja, ini akan berubah
menjadi lemak dan bisa mengakibatkan kanker.
Paling baik meminum/memakan sup panas atau air hangat setelah makan.
Catatan serius mengenai serangan jantung: Tidak semua gejala serangan
jantung adalah sakit pada lengan kiri. Waspadalah jika ada rasa sakit yang
terus-menerus pada rahang.
Mungkin kita tidak akan mengalami rasa sakit dada pertama ketika terjadinya
serangan jantung. Rasa mual dan keringat yang berlebihan juga adalah gejala
yang umum dijumpai. 60% dari mereka yang terkena serangan jantung ketika
tidur tidak terbangun.
Rasa sakit di rahang bisa membangunkan kita dari tidur nyenyak.
Berhati-hatilah dan berwaspada. Semakin banyak kita tahu, semakin baik
kesempatan kita untuk selamat.

gak etis rasanya aku ceritain disini...biarlah ini jadi pengalaman yang sangat berharga buat aku dan ina dimana kita berdua mendapatkan banyak pelajaran baru dalam segala hal terutama tentang menahan rasa amarah dan bersikap sabar menghadapi orang ataupun situasi sulit...
anyway...kenapa aku baru nge-blog lagi sekarang..karena...dari pulang tanggal 10 itu, aku kebanyakan tinggal di cinere,dirumah mertuaku, and disana gak ada koneksi internet...sekarang aku dah balik pulang ke duren sawit...jadi ada internet lagi deh...hehhehehehehehe....
ada satu email bagus dari temenku yang aku mau posting malam ini...

"Jika saya memegangnya selama 1 menit, tidak ada masalah. Jika saya memegangnya selama 1 jam, lengan kanan saya akan sakit.
Dan jika saya memegangnya selama 1 hari penuh, mungkin anda harus memanggilkan ambulans untuk saya. Beratnya sebenarnya sama, tapi semakin lama saya memegangnya, maka bebannya akan semakin berat."
"Jika kita membawa beban kita terus menerus, lambat laun kita tidak akan mampu membawanya lagi.

Jadi sebelum pulang ke rumah dari pekerjaan sore ini, tinggalkan beban pekerjaan. Jangan bawa pulang. Beban itu dapat diambil lagi besok. Apapun beban yang ada dipundak anda hari ini, coba tinggalkan sejenak jika bisa.
Setelah beristirahat nanti dapat diambil lagi.
dari mail tersebut aku merasa aku mendapatkan satu pelajaran baru lagi supaya bisa menjadi lebih santai dalam memandang dan menjalani beban hidup ini...tapi pada dasarnya sih, menurutku yang benar2 mesti terus dilatih adalah kesabaran...karena kalo kita sendiri tidak punya kesabaran yang cukup, sepertinya kitapun tak akan bisa untuk memandang beban hidup lebih gampang dari yang seharusnya...
i guess...thats all for now...i'll continue again soon...felt already very sleepy, and beside that...looks like my husband already snoring loudly enough that made me want to sleep too...

.: My wish "Bags" List :.
karena gak bisa tidur...aku browsing2 ajah...sekalian chat sama kakak iparku yang di amerika, ceritanya mau pesen tas disana, tapi kok yah aku gak enak hati yah buat pesennya sama dia...kata suamiku sihh pesen ajah gak usah pusing2 mikirin harganya...tapi tetep ajah rasanya gak enak hati ajah mesennya, apalagikalo dah di kurs ke rupiah...uihhhhhh...mahal banget tas yang aku mau itu...
harga tas yang aku mau ini $90...merek "Kathy Van Zeeland"...menurutku sih modelnya biasa aja...tapi gak tau kenapa suka banget sama tas ini...dah incer sebulanan ini...tapi terus nunggu komando suami, kalo dia bilang oke...berarti aku akan pesen sama kakak iparku di amerika itu, dan sekarang kata suamiku...pesen2 ajah, karena kebetulan bulan depan ibu mertuaku juga balik ke jakarta, jadi yah otomatis tas itu akan segera jatuh ketangan aku...tapi yah itu lagi2 aku mikir...gak enak hati ajah rasanya....hampir 900rb boooooooo....
nah, ada lagi nih model lain yang pengen juga aku punya...yang ini sih lebih murah...harganya $68 merk Steven by Steve Madden.....jadi bingung....dua duanya bagus banget menurut aku...
malam ini kayaknya bakalan aku pikir2 banget deh akhirnya mau ambil yang mana...soalnya kata kakak iparku mau di order minggu ini....
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh...binun...aku pikir2 dulu lagi ahhh sambil mau tidur...
